We are so f*%k’d

I kid. This book was published in 2009. The perfect time probably for the author, assuming all those who’d be interested at the time still had money enough left to buy a book after the market crash.

I learned to think more broadly in terms of the mass being the market and making it, one way or the other, collectively. And maybe how to pay attention for and notice what the market may be saying about itself psychologically. Many solid historical examples of booms and busts and what about the human psyche creates them both. And hugely also that the thing we are in right now is a result of another thing we were just in that’s probably the result of what came before. So to know this one well may be to know a 20 year history or only a 1 year. It depends. But to be sure, the bust happens because of the boom. But equally so the boom because of the bust…at least eventually.

Finally, I learned how to tell if the market is in a bubble. And how to survive as an investor.
