Massage, offered as a gift.
I trained formally and I'm certified, but I've never run this as a practice. Over the years it's mostly been for lovers, family, and people close to me — intermittent, personal, unhurried. So this isn't clinical work or a service on tap. It's a long, quiet familiarity with the body and with touch, offered now a little more widely, to the people I actually cross paths with.
It takes a few forms, and you'll already know which is ours — it's in how I offered it to you. Most often it's an exchange: you give to a cause in the community we share, and the session is my gift to you. Sometimes the trade comes to me instead — a skill or service you offer in return. And more rarely, it's a gift, where my giving is my receiving — that one comes only unbidden, and can't be asked for without becoming something else. Whichever it is, no money ever reaches me.
HOW I WORK
A session with me isn't only bodywork. You arrive as a whole person — not just a body on a table — and my work is to help bring all of that into the room with us. Not to fix or to aim at anything, but to bring loving attention, touch, movement, and care to what's already here.
Then consciousness and touch carry it together. The body surfaces what it holds within, and my hands and attention meet it there. Seen and felt, not alone with it — we acknowledge it, say "yes" to this too — and that gives power to what you'll do later in the day, or the next. The aim is integration: leaving the table not just looser, but more gathered into yourself.
Comparable in-home sessions run $90–120 in most areas.
one session — 60 or 90 minutes, your choice
I keep no profit. The large majority goes directly to benefit the community we're both in — and of course I'll share what that is beforehand — and the rest goes to pay for gas to and from your place.
How it works, start to finish
-
1
You reach out. Tell me you'd like a session and whether you're after 60 or 90 minutes. I'll tell you the cause your fee will support this time.
-
2
You pay the $60 directly, and send me a screenshot of the receipt. Simple and transparent — you can see the money went where I said.
-
3
I come to you. I bring everything — table, linens, oils, music if you like. You don't set up a thing.
-
4
We begin with intention, then the work. Sixty to ninety unhurried minutes, in your own space.
WHO IT'S FOR
People in my community, and people who find their way to me — that is how this site works. I keep the calendar deliberately light and don't book back-to-back, so if we do this, the time is genuinely yours. If it speaks to you, or to someone you know who could use it, reach out.
You likely have my number. If not, ask the friend who sent you.
