Note on historical context: A note on the starting point: this record begins where I recommitted — selling my home in late 2024 to fund a rebuilt strategy, after earlier years that included real losses. Gemini drew this for me: Prometheus. To be a long-term investor is to endure the daily "eagle" of market volatility, all for the sake of capturing that most otherwise elusive gift of the gods—the eternal flame of compounded growth. Just as Prometheus was ultimately unbound after sharing his gift of prophecy, the investor who masters his foresight finds liberation, eventually moving to the freedom of the fire he has claimed.
